This is the saved broadcast from Mojang announcing all the recent changes coming to the game!!
Tiny Takeover (Releasing March 24, 2026)
(Tomorrow)This update focuses heavily on mob aesthetics and quality-of-life improvements.
- Baby Mob Redesign: Over 50 mobs (including cows, pigs, chickens, and even baby zombies) have received unique textures and sounds to make them look distinct from their adult counterparts rather than just "scaled down" versions.
- Golden Dandelion: A new craftable item (Dandelion + Gold Ingots) that, when fed to a baby mob, prevents it from ever growing into an adult. This is reversible with a standard dandelion.
- Craftable Name Tags: A long-requested feature. You can now craft them using an Iron Ingot and Paper.New Trumpet Sound: A new sound variant for Note Blocks.
- Bedrock "Parties": A new social feature for Bedrock Edition that allows you to move a group of players from one world to another (or a Realm) without having to send new invites.
It adds an interesting mob that engages with the Minecraft physics engine like never before! This drop introduces significant new exploration and mechanical depth.
Chaos Cubed Drop (Coming Later in 2026)
Sulfur Caves Biome: A new underground biome characterized by bright red and yellow colors, something that seems like Minecraft if viewed through a kaleidoscope!
It features Sulfur and Cinnabar block sets.- Noxious Pools: These caves contain toxic green water pools that emit gas particles. Getting too close or stepping in them applies a "nausea" effect.
- The Sulfur Cube: A new mob similar to Slimes or Magma Cubes. Its unique ability is block absorption: If it absorbs Ice, it gains low friction and slides around like a hockey puck. If it absorbs Wood, it becomes bouncy and acts more like a ball. This mechanic is expected to be a major tool for players creating custom mini-games or automated machines.
